Welcome back to another post in this series. This post is going to be a little more bare than the next few posts in this series. In a weird coincidence, out of the 160 magazines I have scanned, I still don’t have one published in 1980. The images used in this are technically from a Car Road The Machine 1981, but it was published in February, which means the content could be from late December. It’s a stretch, but a lot happens in the years after 1980.

Car Road wasn’t highlighting the more extreme builds at the time, but this does look into some of the more common styling. Speed Star Racing wheels with racing slicks, over fenders, early airone gate, and door mirrors. The Laurel is even showing headlight swap from the Cedric.
